Burj Khalifa

For the 2015 New Year's Eve celebrations in Dubai, Spectre Lab contributed to the creation of visual content projected onto the façade of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

Designed for one of the most widely watched events on the planet, the show combined large-scale projection mapping, architecture, light, and pyrotechnics to create an immersive experience witnessed by hundreds of thousands of spectators on site and millions of viewers worldwide.

Working on a structure standing 828 meters tall requires a completely different approach to image design. Each sequence was developed to interact with the tower's extraordinary proportions while maintaining clarity, rhythm, and emotional impact on a city-wide scale.
